Janet Mackenzie, C.M.O. (MD) joined Vohra Wound Physicians in 2013. She brings extensive clinical experience to the role, combined with years of experience in physician supervision and teaching, both academically and with the Vohra Wound Fellowship Program. Dr. Mackenzie has presented wound care lectures at both regional (FMDA) and national (AMDA) conferences.
Prior to joining Vohra, she practiced plastic surgery. She completed a Master’s degree in Education and obtained her Medical Degree at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. Dr. Mackenzie trained in general surgery at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and plastic surgery at McGill University. She is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the American Board of Wound Management, and the American Board of General Medicine, and is a Certified Wound Specialist Physician (CWSP).
