Webster Park Gains Vohra Certification
Webster Park Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Rockland, MA has earned the Vohra Wound Physicians Center of Excellence Certification. Vohra Physician Dr. Zidoon Nasser has helped guide the wound care team to this achievement. Dr. Nasser has worked with this facility for the past two years.
Dr. Nasser said, “It’s my pleasure to recognize Webster Park as a Center of Excellence. I’m so happy today. We built the wound program together. It started with me and Director of Nursing Regina Brown at first. Now, we have a lot of very skilled nurses. They do a perfect job.”
Marquis Health Services Director of Operations Jerry LaBelle recognizes the partnership between Vohra and his nursing team leads to optimal wound healing outcomes for the Webster Park residents.
“The team approach here with Dr. Nasser is unbelievable with Vohra,” said LaBelle. “Dr. Nasser has really developed his rapport with our clinical team and taught our nurses. It’s helped us expand, not only to our center, but also to our local hospitals to help them understand that we can take care of people with wounds. Dr. Nasser has done a fantastic job with Vohra and we’re very pleased to have his services in this building.”
For Dr. Nasser, the most important thing is that the Webster Park residents are getting top level wound care. “The wound healing rates here are very good,” Nasser said. “We don’t have any hospitalizations for wounds and we’re always working on wound prevention. I’m so proud of the staff and very happy with their performance.”
To qualify for the certification, the facility had to achieve a less than one percent wound-related hospitalization rate for the year. Labelle says that’s quite an accomplishment.
“This is a program that is well-developed and the less than one percent rehospitalization rate is fantastic in the health care world,” LaBelle said. “I’m very proud of the Webster Park clinical team here. They’ve done a fantastic job. The Director of Nursing Regina Brown is unbelievable, along with the rest of the team on the PACU Unit. It’s a culture of excellence and we’re very happy for achieving this award.
