Building Centers of Excellence: Vohra Certifies Three Greystone Facilities

Vohra Wound Physicians certified three skilled nursing facilities as Centers of Excellence in Wound Management on the same day, in a first of its kind event. All three are Greystone Health facilities in Florida.

The Grove Health and Rehabilitation in Hernando, Lady Lake Health and Rehabilitation in Lady Lake and The Club Health and Rehabilitation in The Villages each received the honor last week. Representatives from Vohra and Greystone were on hand to celebrate with the facilities’ staff. Vohra Wound Specialist Dorothy Watson, ARNP works with all three facilities to make sure their residents with wounds are getting expert care.

“Greystone believes in wound care,” Watson said. “I’ve worked with them for so long in so many buildings over the years, I know whatever we do is like teamwork. That’s why everything comes out so excellent. They believe in what they’re doing in one building and they just spread that same joy all over.”

Greystone Regional Director of Clinical Operations Kim Biegasiewicz, RN echoes Watson’s sentiment. “Wound care is something we take very seriously and take a lot of pride in. We appreciate all Vohra does for our facilities and our residents to ensure our continued excellence and we are very proud of our facilities that have won the award today.”

The Center of Excellence Program was created to identify and highlight facilities that have developed a superior wound management program.
