VOHRA Wound Certified Professionals

VOHRA Wound Physicians has created a Wound Care Certification Program designed to improve the quality of care provided in the wound care community. The online program is open to all allied medical professionals.

VOHRA Wound Certified Professionals have met the following criteria:

  • Mastered the Learning Requirements for VOHRA Wound Certification
  • Demonstrated Performance and Proficiency in wound care content
  • Achieved Passing Standards for Learning Assessments and Final Exam

Students are required to meet minimum requirements in order to take the Certification exam. Successful completion of the assessment exam doesn’t constitute a designation that can be added to your credentials it solely means that you hold a certificate in “VOHRA Wound Care.”

The VOHRA Wound Care Certification program was developed by VOHRA Wound Physicians, the largest group of wound physicians in the United States, with more than 20 years of Clinical Experience providing wound care services to more than 2500 skilled nursing facilities in 27 states, with thousands of patients treated every month.

Continuing Nursing Education Credits

The 20 Nationally Recognized Continuing Education (CE) credits are approved by Maryland Nurses Association (MNA) and recognized by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). The Maryland Nurses Association (MNA) is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Commission on Accreditation (COA). The ANCC COA accreditation signifies that educational activities approved by MNA meet national standards for quality continuing nursing education.
