Formal wound care training is not required. We have an excellent training program that will teach you the required skills and knowledge required for bedside wound care. You will need to enjoy doing procedures and have an inate desire to improve patient outcomes.

Documents required for credentialing are collected from the physician prior to training. Credentialing at facilities can usually be completed prior to completion of training.

Board certification in your specialty is preferred; however board certification is not required. If you are not board certified you will be asked to obtain wound care board certification.

Physicians are eligible for full benefits if they have at least 50 encounters on average per week

Our physicians sign a two year non-compete agreement limited to providing wound care in post acute facilities.
